Key Responsibilities:
• Structural design of Point of Sale stand up display structures, mainly corrugated with some cartonboard.
• Work on own initiative and to be involved in the development of their junior designers.
• Mainly project based role, working as part of the Design team
• Working on up to 10 different projects in 1 week with varying degrees of complexity
• To design display structures that can be loaded up and withstand the weight of the merchandise
• Creating structural prototypes when required
• Compiling product specifications
• Maintaining close contact with the Production team and Hand Assembly teams throughout trials, to ensure smooth running of product
• Attending and providing input into brainstorming meetings
• Maintain close contact with Sales team throughout projects

Candidate Requirements:
• Experience in the structural design of corrugated Packaging / POS would be an advantage.
• Must have a creative flair and able to provide innovative solutions to a broad range of design briefs
• Ability to work creatively under the pressure of deadlines
• A knowledge of print and manufacturing processes involved in the conversion of corrugated packaging
• Able to hit the ground running
• Understanding of the dynamics of structural packaging
• Graphics and illustrating skills would be an advantage

• Able to work on own initiative but also a good team player
