Job Purpose:
• Here's a rare opportunity for a packaging expert to be an ambassador for change with one of the world's leading organisations.
• Develop new packaging solutions across their supply chain.
• Working within the framework of their Innovation Programme, you'll manage the packaging innovation team and develop new packaging solutions and cost saving initiatives for some of the UK's favourite products.

• Head of Technical Innovation
Reportees:
• Lead, coach and develop a team of 4 packaging experts within the design team
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with commercial team to develop and delivery innovation through packaging
• Assess new Cost saving opportunities within the supply chain and implement new projects according
• Proactively resolve any packaging design issues
• Work closely with Strategic Sourcing department to build effective relationships with key suppliers.
Candidate Requirements:
• Looking for someone who is of degree calibre (or equivalent)
• Has an Institute of Packaging Diploma.
• Previous experience within an FMCG or similar branded business is essential, as is exposure to various forms of packaging.
• Proven leadership skills are key, and you will support these with the ability to challenge accepted practices.
• Ability to network with outside organisations to gather innovation opportunities.
• Understanding of the process for gathering insight and innovation.
• Project management, coaching and communication skills.
• Understanding of the impact on trade quality of beer and dispense parameters
• With first class project management, communication and influencing skills, you will be an ambassador for change within the business.
• Engaging, able to push the boundaries, communicate across all areas as you will be working and leading cross functional projects
