Key Responsibilities:
• To manage the artwork approval process and implement improvements where appropriate
• To manage the relationship with artwork studios negotiating costs and service levels as appropriate
• To evaluate current packaging performance criteria and update as necessary
• Ensure company policies are updated with changes in packaging direction
• To provide a technical skill base for the commercial and product technology functions
• To conduct depot audits identifying areas for packaging reduction and better ways of working.
• Initiate relevant projects and follow through to implementation
• In conjunction with Manager facilitate accurate packaging waste data collation and reporting
• Travel within UK and Europe

Qualifications/Experience:
• Graduate level with 1-2 years practical experience
• Sound knowledge of packaging materials and print processes.
• Awareness of environmental impact of packaging
• Minimum Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint ability
• Attention to detail
• Planning and organisational skills
• Project and time management
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to act on own initiative and work autonomously without support
• Willingness to adapt to and deliver internal customer requirements.
• Persuasiveness and influence over others
• Ideally a knowledge of web based artwork approval systems, SAP and or similar systems
