Key Responsibilities:
• In partnership with Brand Packaging Managers, create and maintain packaging material specifications to ensure company, customer and regulatory compliance. e.g. Packaging Essential Requirements, Environmental data.
• In partnership with the Brand Packaging Managers, write packing instructions for finished product specifications.
• Responsible for loading all artwork elements onto finished goods specifications to ensure timely completion and release to the manufacturing sites.
• In partnership with the EPD & PP Manager provide ongoing support to the packaging data collection initiative
• Audit Champion. In partnership with the EPD & Packaging Processes Manager the coordinator will be responsible for the maintenance of all audit related packaging documentation. ISO/ MHRA/ GMP
• Responsible for coordinating packaging related supplier documentation to ensure company, customer and regulatory compliance. E.g. Heavy Metal Content certificates
• Responsible for dissemination and verification of bar coding standards at third party manufacturing sites.
• Make sure the ISO and GMP bests practice will be applied to the packaging development process
Candidate Requirements:
• Consolidated experience in packaging/artwork specification
• Consolidated experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Consolidated experience in packaging material specification validation
• Good experience in environmental data base
• Excellent writing skills
• Experience of ISO and GMP best practices applied in artwork
• Ability to demonstrate a degree of operating autonomy
• Articulate, clarity of thought, excellent verbal reasoning skills
• Degree level education (ideally Engineer/Packaging technology or similar)
• Good experience in packaging/artwork specification development (minimum 2 years)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Enthusiastic, creative, focused and self motivated
• Excellent skills in database management
