Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that brand and business goals are clear and that you are able to proactively support your brand customers
• Lead and provide technical support to develop structural packaging solutions across our range of brands
• Plan and implement production trials within both the NPD and optimisation and cost saving processes in line with the business targets set
• Maintain an improved range of packaging specifications onto the Hamilton Grant system
• Help co-ordinate the packaging design workflow that incorporate the development of performance related specifications
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical developments and trends in packaging and related processes
• Knowledge of print, design and repro must be maintained and an active role in supporting the Pre-Print Manager must be taken including taking graphics briefs and improving workflows in Packaging Shop and or other related project management tools
• Prepare comprehensive reports on materials and processes aimed at improving our knowledge and development of innovative future materials, processes and products
• Understand to a good level quality and analytical techniques available to specify and improve performance of packaging materials
• Take an active role in your own personal development
